Wine & Dine at Dunbrody

With Celebrity TV Chef Kevin Dundon as one of the owners it is no wonder that dining is a big deal here. The award-winning restaurant The Harvest Room is less of a hotel dining room and much more of a stylish, atmospheric restaurant. The Harvest Room Restaurant has been the recipient of numerous awards over the past years and regularly features highly in press reviews from both Irish and international travel writers, restaurant reviewers and food critics. Renowned for always featuring home and locally-produced, seasonal ingredients our dishes always reflect the flavours of the seasons.  Nothing is over-worked or made to confuse the palate. Emphasis is always on the freshness of the ingredients and the enhancement of them through the simplicity of combinations. All the ingredients are locally sourced with many of the fruits and vegetables and all of the herbs from our own kitchen & herbs gardens.

The Dunbrody Wine List offers an approachable selection from around the world all chosen with specific dishes in mind and also changes with the seasons in order to best complement the various menus. 

Dundons’ Champagne Seafood Bar offers a fantastic alternative to the main restaurant. Informal dining with a menu that offers some ingenious modern twists on traditional dishes are the order of the day here. Dine al fresco on the terrace in the summer or fireside in the winter. Again the menu changes to reflect the changing seasons so you can expect hearty Fisherman’s Pie and Haddock Smokies off the Winter Menu while the Summer Menu offers lighter fare such as the Old-Fashioned Prawn Cocktail or Dunbrody Strawberries with Crushed Gooey Meringue & Fresh Cream. A year-round absolute favourite and never off the menu is the Beer-Battered Fish & Chips with Pea Shot and Dunbrody Tartare Sauce!

Thursday 31st May Champagne Charlie Dinner with Willem Pincon of Champagne Heidsieck - featuring some of the best from Charles Heidsieck combined with an amazing Tasting Dinner from Kevin Dundon & new Head Chef Tom Spruce. €125 per person Book here
 
Smokin Hot BBQ! Cookery Demo Monday 4th June Join us in the cookery school for an afternoon of BBQing followed by Dinner in the Local Pub featuring dishes from our new smoker! €45 per person
 
It's a Gin Thing Sunday 1st July Our gin expert will lead you through foraging in our herb and kitchen gardens for all the ingredients to distill your own gin.  Followed up by tastings and Gin cocktails with a Gin-themed dinner afterwards. €95 per person
 
Mad Hatters Tea Party Monday 6th August in aid of the Three Musketeers Childrens Fund - a garden party with a few twists and turns through the woodland walk at Dunbrody House.  Finishing up with our full Afternoon Tea with Bubbles.  Don't forget your Hat! €50 per person - all proceeds to the 3 Musketeers
