At Dunbrody House, we are entirely focused on the experience of our guests and our priority, always, is your health and safety. Now, more than ever, in light of the evolving COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation, we are focused on the health and safety of both our guests and employees, without compromising the quality of your experience when you stay with us.
We are adhering to the latest information, protocols and tools from the world’s leading health experts and government authorities – including the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control – to maximize the effectiveness of our response.
For so many of us, travel is a necessary and rewarding part of our lives. Here at Dunbrody we have taken precautionary measures to ensure your wellbeing, along with that of your fellow travellers and our employees. We have heightened our already stringent practices around food handling, sanitization, disinfection and cleaning, plus specific measures based on the guidance of local health authorities.
In addition to these measures, we encourage you to learn more about what you can do to travel more safely. has several recommendations to reduce exposure to a range of illnesses, including hand and respiratory hygiene as well as safe food practices.
Additional training is being arranged for our employees prior to their return to work in accordance with the Return to Work Safely Guidelines from the HSA, the HSE and the Department of Health
In addition we will be introducing two sittings for breakfast and dinner services which we will pre-book with you prior to arrival. Single use menus with reduced option wine lists will be in operation each day. We will email the full list to you to in PDF format to browse as well so that you can access all our information. Bills can be emailed rather than printed if requested, payment can be as contactless as possible and we will not be handling cash at all for the foreseeable future.
Additional Sanitising stations will be offered throughout the hotel as well as in guest bedrooms. This will include UVA disinfection daily.
We are doing everything we can to provide a safe, seamless and ultimately enjoyable country house experience when you visit Dunbrody. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We know that you share our love of travel and we look forward to welcoming you to Dunbrody very soon. For guests travelling from abroad we do require proof that you have self-isolated for a full 14 days prior to check-in. We unfortunately will have to cancel your booking in the event of non-complaince with the government directive.
